Terms of service
PostRelay Terms of Service
Effective date: March 29, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using PostRelay. By creating an account, connecting a social platform account, or using any part of the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use PostRelay.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) and the operator of PostRelay (“PostRelay”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) governing your access to and use of the PostRelay platform, website, application programming interfaces, and all related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will endeavor to notify users of material changes by email or in-product notice.
2. Description of Service
PostRelay is a software-as-a-service platform that allows users to draft, adapt, schedule, and publish content to supported third-party social media and publishing platforms. PostRelay uses artificial intelligence features to assist with content adaptation. The Service operates as an intermediary between you and the third-party platforms you connect.
PostRelay is a scheduling and publishing tool only. We do not control, endorse, or take responsibility for any content you publish or any third-party platform's response to that content.
3. Accounts and Access
You must register for an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must not share your account with others, use another person's account without permission, or create accounts for the purpose of circumventing usage limits, plan restrictions, or these Terms. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that exhibit abuse patterns, including but not limited to multi-account creation to bypass quotas.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or if continued access poses a risk to the Service, other users, or third-party platforms.
4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds
Access to certain features requires a paid subscription. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the applicable subscription fees to your payment method on a recurring basis at the then-current rate for your selected plan and billing cycle.
All fees are stated in US dollars unless otherwise specified. Fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as expressly stated in a written refund policy we make available. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. Upgrades take effect immediately and are charged on a prorated basis.
We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.
Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account and loss of access to your scheduled content, connected accounts, and workspace data.
5. Usage Limits and Fair Use
Your subscription plan includes usage entitlements such as the number of connected accounts, scheduled broadcasts per period, AI rewrite requests, AI image generations, and other feature-specific limits. These limits are defined per plan and may be updated from time to time. Current limits are published on the pricing page and within your account settings.
PostRelay enforces these limits through technical controls. Hitting a limit is not a service failure. It is the intended operation of the plan you have subscribed to. You may upgrade your plan to access higher limits.
You agree not to attempt to circumvent, bypass, or work around usage limits through technical means, multi-account creation, API manipulation, or any other method. Circumvention of usage controls is a material breach of these Terms.
6. Per-Platform Posting Limits and Channel-Specific Controls
In addition to plan-level usage limits, PostRelay may apply per-channel daily posting limits for certain third-party platforms, including but not limited to X (formerly Twitter) and Reddit. These limits exist for two reasons:
- Cost control. Some third-party publishing APIs charge on a per-request basis. High-volume posting on such platforms creates direct variable costs for PostRelay that are not fully covered by flat subscription fees.
- Account protection. Certain platforms, including Reddit, enforce undisclosed automated posting thresholds and may shadow-ban, restrict, or suspend accounts that exceed them. Enforcing a daily ceiling helps reduce that risk on your behalf.
Per-platform daily limits vary by plan, may differ from the general daily broadcast limit, and may be adjusted at any time without prior notice. PostRelay is not obligated to provide a specific daily posting volume on any particular third-party platform.
Thread-based posts on platforms that support threads (such as X) count as multiple API calls, one per post in the thread. PostRelay limits the maximum number of replies per thread. These limits are subject to change.
PostRelay does not guarantee that staying within our enforced limits will prevent any third-party platform from taking action against your account. Platform policies are outside our control and change without notice.
7. Connected Accounts and Third-Party Platforms
The Service enables you to connect accounts on third-party social media and publishing platforms (“Connected Accounts”). By connecting an account, you authorize PostRelay to access and use that account solely to provide the features you enable, including publishing content on your behalf.
You are solely and entirely responsible for all activity conducted through your Connected Accounts via PostRelay. This includes all content published, the timing and frequency of posts, compliance with each platform's terms of service, community guidelines, developer policies, spam policies, rate limits, and any other rules imposed by the connected platform.
PostRelay is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in partnership with any third-party platform unless explicitly stated. Each third-party platform is an independent service governed entirely by its own terms, policies, and enforcement decisions.
If any connected third-party platform suspends, restricts, bans, shadow-bans, rate-limits, demotes, or takes any other enforcement action against your account, for any reason including use through PostRelay, PostRelay bears no liability whatsoever for that outcome. This includes actions resulting from high posting frequency, automated content patterns, content policy violations, API policy violations, or any other platform-determined violation. You assume all risk associated with automated publishing to third-party platforms.
You represent and warrant that your use of any Connected Account through PostRelay does not violate the terms of service or developer policies of the connected platform. If a platform revokes your access or our application's access, PostRelay may not be able to continue publishing on your behalf and is not liable for resulting scheduling failures or content loss.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You must not use PostRelay to:
- Publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, obscene, harassing, threatening, or otherwise objectionable
- Violate the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Spam, manipulate, or artificially inflate engagement metrics on any platform
- Conduct coordinated inauthentic behavior or operate accounts for the purpose of deception
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary components of the Service
- Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to unauthorized third parties
PostRelay reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and to suspend or terminate access without notice where a violation is reasonably suspected.
9. AI Features
PostRelay includes AI-powered features including content rewriting and image generation. These features are provided on an as-is basis. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, or unsuitable for your specific use case. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any AI-generated content before publishing it.
PostRelay makes no representation that AI-generated content is original, free of third-party claims, or compliant with the policies of any platform to which you publish it. Use of AI features does not transfer any liability for published content from you to PostRelay.
AI feature availability, model quality, and monthly usage allowances are subject to change with or without notice based on cost, availability, and product decisions.
10. Content and Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to the content you submit, upload, or publish through the Service. By using the Service, you grant PostRelay a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and transmit your content solely as necessary to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for any purpose beyond operating the Service.
The PostRelay platform, including its software, design, trademarks, and proprietary technology, is owned by PostRelay and protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to PostRelay's intellectual property beyond the limited right to use the Service as described here.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.
PostRelay does not warrant that the Service will be error-free, that scheduled posts will be delivered without failure, or that third-party platform integrations will remain functional. Third-party platforms may change their APIs, policies, or authentication requirements at any time, and PostRelay may not be able to immediately adapt to such changes.
PostRelay does not guarantee that content will be published at the exact scheduled time or at all. Scheduled delivery depends on third-party platform availability, API responsiveness, background job execution, and factors outside PostRelay's control. Delays or failures in scheduled publishing do not constitute a breach of these Terms and do not entitle you to a refund or compensation.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, POSTRELAY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, ACCOUNT SUSPENSION OR BAN BY ANY THIRD-PARTY PLATFORM, MISSED PUBLISHING WINDOWS, FAILURE OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT, OR ANY OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSS, EVEN IF POSTRELAY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you to PostRelay in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100.00), whichever is greater. This limitation applies regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PostRelay and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) content you publish or attempt to publish through the Service; (c) your violation of these Terms; (d) your violation of the terms, policies, or guidelines of any third-party platform; or (e) any claim that your content or use of Connected Accounts infringes or violates any third-party rights.
13. Service Availability and Changes
PostRelay does not guarantee any specific level of uptime, availability, or feature continuity. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes or planned downtime but are not obligated to do so.
We may also add, remove, or change features, usage limits, pricing tiers, supported platforms, or AI capabilities at any time. Removal of a connected platform integration does not entitle you to a refund.
14. Force Majeure
PostRelay shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, internet or telecommunications outages, power failures, third-party platform API failures or policy changes, failures of background job infrastructure or hosting providers, or any other event outside PostRelay's reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”).
In the event of a Force Majeure Event, our obligations under these Terms shall be suspended for the duration of the event. We will make reasonable efforts to notify affected users and to restore service as promptly as practicable. A Force Majeure Event does not entitle you to a refund or compensation.
15. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and deleting your account through the in-app workflow. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid fees except as required by applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms, if required to do so by law, or if continued access creates a risk to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain data as required by applicable law, financial obligations, or these Terms.
16. Governing Law, Arbitration, and Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Binding Arbitration. You agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in a small claims court or equivalent tribunal if your claims qualify. The arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis under applicable arbitration rules and shall take place in India. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
No Class Actions. You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis only. You expressly waive any right to participate in or bring a class action, class arbitration, consolidated proceeding, or representative action of any kind against PostRelay. Any arbitration or proceeding shall not be combined with another without the prior written consent of all parties.
Waiver of Jury Trial. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you waive any right to a jury trial in connection with any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
